We engaged LAL to undertake a significant extension and renovation to our duplex in the inner-north. We found Chris and his team a pleasure to work with during the entire process. We opted for a ‘cost/plus’ contract which gave us the freedom to make minor alterations to the design as the build progressed. Chris’ communication with us was excellent and we were always aware of what was happening next, how much it would cost, and anything he required of us. As a result there were no nasty surprises and we ended up with exactly the house we wanted. They did such a good job on the main house that we engaged them to do all of the hard landscaping for us as well. We love our house now and cannot recommend LAL highly enough to anyone thinking of undertaking a construction project.

In late 2020, I engaged LAL Construction when the industry was experiencing never before seen supply chain pressures. Working alongside interior design company Studio & You, Chris and the team made me feel comfortable from the get go with how the process comes to life. With cost saving recommendations and a casual yet professional approach, the fit out was complete within 4 short weeks. I am so thankful for everything Chris and his team have done with Studio Mae. 2.5 years on, I still have onlookers walk past regularly and compliment the Studio. I have, and will continue to recommend LAL Construction to anyone needing an honest and quality builder within the Canberra region.

LAL have completed 2 renovations for us, an ensuite in 2020 and the rest of the house in 2023. Both jobs were completed on schedule and on budget, and we are delighted with the way the house looks!
